It's just a novility. Anyone who came into the base without a paint gun would be very suspect to me. I have had spys who thought if they didn't have a paint shooter they wouldn't get noticed.
But for me it's the opposite, I am suspicious of anyone who dosn't have a paint gun, other than a ref, and espically a role playing reporter or photographer. Hollywood thought many times he could waltz into my base and do dammage but he got his notion put right out of his head when I took him captive. If your ever in a scenario and he is around do not take him lightly he will try to eliminate your General or blow your base.

Excellent point, and what about grenades as well? a quick pat down is in order or to that effect...er remember that map in "THE THREE KINGS" ? just goes to show what you could find
