Default HPA - shots per Cu. in. question

I read somewhere that the air tank capacities are..

3000psi - 10 shots/cu in
4500 - 15 shots/cu in

with these numbers a 68/4500 would get 1,020 shots

I just bought an SP-1 and am sick of co2 from using my 98c. Just wondering if these numbers are accurate with efficient smart parts guns. I'm lookin' into getting a DraXuS 68cu/4500 and was curious as to how many shots i could get from the tank

I can get close to that 1000 shots from my Pure Energy 68/4500, filled to only 3000 PSIG. The feild I play at, has thier fill stations regulated to 3000 PSIG.

I'm using an internally stock (so far ) SP-1. I borrowed a friends Freak Jr. and noticed the best efficiancy with it. I hope to have my own Freak Jr. along with a Black Heart and firebolt this week, hoping to get a bit more efficiancy out of it.

with my sp1 and fire bolt i can shoot almost an entire case off a 68/45
its like converting cc's and horse power, it doesnt really work out to a constant number

go with a 68, cause the next size down, 50-something... is too small. unless you ration your paint then get what ever you can afford. im normally the heavy gunner in most situations for my team, so i have 2 68/45, just in case, or to use 2 sp1's

This has been a pretty useful tool for quite a while.

i dont know if that thin is right. said 1071. which doesnt work on electro pneumatics. cause each one fires differently.
but i do have to say that EVERYTHING makes a difference.
paint size, barrel, bolt, regulator, low pressure kit, amount of lube and so on.
so i would find someone who has a stock sp1, grab a box of descent paint, put a 68 on and let it rip. this will be your start #, then it only gets better with a barrel and bolt.

Numbers should be about right, just have to make sure you have the right setting at the top of the clac. With my BT i could shoot just about half a case before airing back up, Wich is what the calc say a gas pig should be close to 1071. With my Ion im gettin close to 3 bags roughly 1400 balls. the calc tell me i should get close to 1377. all my numbers were from runnin the tank all the way out.

ok, i guess i didnt get the button clicked. so it was 1377. which is close to my sp1 when it was stock and before switching the dwell.
so yes i agree it is ok for finding an average on a stock marker.
but with upgrades its almost 600 behind for what i have done to mine. but thats just mine.
good find, i think this can help people decided what tank they want
