Default Velocity issue just popped up...

Vibe with a TechT L7 bolt....CO2 with anti siphon, CP 14" .689 barrel. being fed with a Ricochet Apache loader.

Here's my recent issue- on full auto, after perhaps five seconds of uninterrupted fire, my velocity will drop to the point where a ball actually "flops" out and goes 'bout 30' only. If I wait a bit, 5-10 secs, I'm back to firing full tilt- and the scenario repeats. I have a chrono and I havent bothered checking at the get go (i believe i'm tween 265-285 at least). Just scratchin my head; luckily I have a SP certified dealer/shop about 25 mins away and I'm always down there hobnobbing and talikg shop, but b/4 I go there, any thoughts? Note- the regulator, natch, is VERY cold when this occurs. I'd think the antisiphon would be keeping liquid CO2 off the solenoid, but I may be wrong? (note- I just had the tank and A.S. kit matched up to the marker last week)

input appreciated

Sounds like co2 is getting into the gun. Try switching to air if possible.

If you have the Blackheart board - you can try to Adjust (increase) the FSDO (First Shot Drop Off). Stock I believe is 5ms .

Also try to replace the 2nd O-Ring from the front of bolt going backwards.

Now if you say you have an Antisiphon tube - we are assuming you installed correctly by installing it on the Valve first - fitting it to the gun and then installing appropriately in the tank once you found out the proper orientation?
If so - good job!

Next to elimate a CO2 issue (you should hear a air HISS noise) if CO2 is getting into the regulator. Do not tip your gun too much side to side and upside down if it is a full tank, or the Anti Siphon tube will actually become a Siphon tube and draw liquid into the Gun!

Also - I would change the battery - once the battery is past a certain charge level it will do ALL KINDS of crazy crap too it. You would be SURPRISED! HONESTLY! ok....

Last but not least you can look up on Youtube to see how to service the Regulator - check the filter screen and make sure no particles are in it -that can cause choking issues - but leave enough open so that it can recharge slowly.

Hope this helps......
