my first masks... it's my backup now because I like the way the Profiler look better, but to be honest? the Proto fits waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better on my face... the profiler kinda digs into my cheek bones a little.

I like my Proto. It has good protection because of the hard parts of the mask, but also has flex areas to allow for a bounce. I have had no real issues with the lenses fogging up (one time I was getting fog-ups because I was using a headset and it was keeping the mask from making a good seal... see below).
The only issue is if you are going to use a headset, you will have to make sure it is an ear-bud style that fits inside of the ear and does not stick out of your ear too far; if it is a headset that sits on top of the ear instead of inside it, the headset will sit against the hard part of the mask and will be very uncomfortable. If you find a spot where the headset is comfortable, make sure that you still have a good seal around your goggle area or you could have fog issues. |

I have looked at the proto masks and tried them on. I didn't like it so i got a Empire E- Vent wich is way nicer.

I've been using my Protos for 2+ years now and despite there being better masks out there I have stuck with the Proto. Cheap lens replacement, good firld of view, great weight, covers my large face, and I won't be losing any money once they are unuseable. With the length of time I have used them they have more than paid for themselves. Though I might start looking for a new mask soon Proto will be toward the top of the list of what I try.
